From Boston, I-84 West
I-84W to Exit 61 / I-291N (toward I-91)
Follow I-291N to the end and Bear Right onto Rt. 218 ( Exit 2 / Bloomfield).
Follow Rt. 218 approximately 5 miles then...
Left onto Rt. 189 (Bloomfield Ave. / Univ. of Hartford).
Approx. 3 miles to University of Hartford Main Entrance -- Left at traffic light is campus entrance.

From Springfield, I-91 South
I-91S to Exit 35B (Rt. 218 / Bloomfield)
Right off exit onto Rt. 218 (direction: Bloomfield).
Follow Rt. 218 approximately 5 miles and Left (at traffic light) onto Rt. 189 (Bloomfield Avenue). Approx. 3 miles to University of Hartford Main Entrance -- Left at traffic light is campus entrance.

From NYC, I-95/91 North (via Prospect Avenue)
I-91N to Merge at Exit 17 onto Rt.15N / WILBUR CROSS PKWY,
(toward BERLIN TPKE / CT-66 / I-691) to I-691W via Exit 68W (MERIDEN / WATERBURY).
I-691W to the end and Merge onto I-84E via Exit 2 (HARTFORD).
I-84E to Exit 44 / Prospect Avenue. Left at traffic light onto Prospect Ave.
Follow Prospect approximately 2 miles to the end (Rt. 44 / Albany Avenue).
At traffic light (Rt.44 / Albany Avenue) turn Right...
Go 50 yards, and quick Left at light onto Rt. 189 / Bloomfield Avenue.
Approx. 1/2 mile to University of Hartford Main Entrance on your Right at 2nd traffic light.

From New London, CT / Rhode Island
Rt. 2W to Exit 2w onto I-84W (HARTFORD).
Approx. 1 mile to Exit 47 / Sigourney Street and Right at traffic light.
At third light, Turn Left onto Asylum Avenue.
Follow Asylum approx. 2 miles to fork with traffic light, Bear Right at light/fork.
At next intersection/traffic light, Right onto Scarborough (a divided street).
Follow Scarborough less than 1 mile to next light, Left at light, onto Rt. 44 / Albany Avenue.
Approx. 200 yards to traffic light/intersection: Right at light, onto Rt. 189 / Bloomfield Avenue.
Approx. 1/2 mile to University of Hartford Main Entrance on your Right at 2nd traffic light.

Enter campus at Main Entrance (traffic light) and continue straight ahead. Follow main road which curves left around the backside of campus -- BEWARE of two large speed bumps.

There are signs designating each parking lot section...
Turn Right into Parking Lot "D" at the second Lot "D" sign on your right.

The signage across from Parking Lot "D" lists the "Gray Center" and "Wilde Auditorium". If you pass over a small bridge, you went too far.

Standing in Parking Lot D, and facing the street, cross the street and use the sidewalk between the buildings. The Harry Jack Gray Center is located behind the smaller building.

WWUH RADIO: The entrance is up the walk to the right of Wilde Auditorium. You will see the neon "WWUH 91.3" light in the lower windows. Ring the door bell to the right of the door to be let in. Step down to your right to reach the WWUH Studio door.

WILDE AUDITORIUM: As you reach the sidewalk between buildings you'll see (straight ahead & slightly to your right) the main entrance for WILDE AUDITORIUM (large double-doors.) Enter the building, and the auditorium entrance is immediately to your left.

MILLARD AUDITORIUM is located in the Hartt Music School (the larger building to the left of the Gray Center.) As you walk toward the Wilde entrance from Lot "D", continue up the walk between buildings and to the left to the (unmarked) entrance for Millard.

Approximate driving time to UofH is ten minutes from I-84 or I-91. Allow up to 30 minutes during rush hour, 4:00 - 6:00pm. Friday afternoon has extremely bad traffic. Try to avoid the interstate junctions in Hartford...
Best Bets To Avoid Traffic Congestion!
From I-91 South take Route 218 / Bloomfield, to left onto Route 189 (Bloomfield Ave.) and follow to UofH entrance on your left.

From I-84 East take I-291 to Route 218 / Bloomfield, to left onto Route 189 (Bloomfield Ave.) and follow to UofH entrance on your left.

From I-91 North or I-84 West take Sisson Avenue Exit, then straight to Prospect Avenue. Right onto Prospect, follow to the end and right onto Albany Ave/Rt. 44. Immediate left onto Rte. 189 and follow to traffic light and UofH entrance on your right.
This will save you a lot of time and heartache by avoiding
the interstateand its interchanges during rush hour traffic!
