The Marty Party

   "The Marti Party" (formerly "Night Train") has a new time slot; Monday from 1 pm to 4 pm as I take over Synthesis continuing my salute to the best of the 50's and 60's.
Each show features an artist, band or group from this period. I will provide a biographical overview of the artist and play the best selections of their music. Occasionally I will feature guests, invited to provide their expertise on the featured artist. Here is a list of some upcoming shows.

January 7 Dion & the Belmonts, Dion and others
January 14 Ricky Nelson, Gene Vincent
January 21 Drifters and Clyde McPhatter
January 28 Single girl sounds (Lavern Baker, Ruth Brown,
Betty Evert, Brenda Lee, Barb Lewis, and more)
February 4 Oldies singles, two 2nd tier groups
February 11 Flamingos and Platters
February 18 Swamp Blues variety show
February 25 Rockabilly

If you have a hankering for the 50's and 60's music and memories give "The Marti Party" a listen. You may get hooked, especially if you are 60 something and yearn for the music of your youth.
