WWUH Open House To Be Part Of University's Community
Day
For the fourth consecutive year, the University
of Hartford invites its neighbors and friends from throughout Greater
Hartford to its campus for Community Day on Saturday, April 8, from
11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This family-friendly event features a wide range
of free amusements, exhibits, attractions, and performances.
WWUH invites all visitors to its studios
during this event to tour our facilities and meet select show hosts.
Next door, the University of Hartford TV studio will show off
its eye-catching facilities and offer guests an interactive broadcasting
experience.
Ongoing performances will take place as well,
including a special Music for a Change Concert by dynamic
singer, songwriter, and musician Dana Pomfret.
From soccer clinics to family movies to gallery
exhibitions, this is a day you will not want to miss. Community
Day will be held rain or shine. A complete schedule of events
is online at hartford.edu/communityday.
The University of Hartford has stayed remarkably
true to its original mission of serving as a valued resource for
individuals, families, businesses, and communities throughout Greater
Hartford.
In early April, WWUH will feature a special
30-minute broadcast, a look at the many ways that the University
of Hartford enhances lives, minds, and neighborhoods across our
region. Be sure to tune in.
See you on campus on Saturday, April 8.
