Author, Former State Dept. Diplomat and Attorney J. Michael Springmann will be speaking at the University of Hartford at 7:00 p.m. in the Auerbach Auditorium in Hillyer Hall. (Please park in Lot B.)

J. Michael Springmann will discuss his two books:

Visas For Al Qaeda: CIA Handouts That Rocked the World

Goodbye, Europe? Hello, Chaos? Merkel's Migrant Bomb

The War on Terror is far more complicated that good versus evil. Al Qaeda operatives are indeed ruthtless and fanatical, but how did they come by their advanced training and international presence? Unfortunately, the answer lies in a secret US training and visa program with roots in the Cold War. From the Mujahadeen to Al-Qaeda to ISIS, come hear Michael Springmann share his inside knowledge on who is behind these groups.

In Goodbye, Europe? Hello, Chaos?, Springmann provides an in-depth analysis of the migrant flood, its causes, and what it means for Europe. He argues that destabalizing nations through invasion and espionage furthers US goals in the Middle East, creating migrant waves aimed at destabilizing the European Union in general and Germany in particular. Springmann's insider knowledge of US policy permeates this insightful, sometimes terrifying look at a world where migrants become weapons, nationalism is condemned, and civil liberties hang in the balance.
