Multi-instrumentalist Marty Ehrlich has become one of the most highly regarded jazz musicians of his generation. His latest recording, A Trumpet in the Morning, is one of his most ambitious projects to date, featuring a large ensemble performing six Ehrlich compositions, including the title track, a 23-minute epic inspired by an Arthur Brown poem.
